Set up a private room

  1. Open the lobby and press Create Private Room.
  2. Press Copy invite link, or Share invite link on a phone to send it straight to a chat app.
  3. Send the link to your friend. In WhatsApp, iMessage or Discord it shows a preview card with your name.
  4. When your friend opens it, they appear in the room. Both of you press Ready up and the match starts after a short countdown.

How a match with a friend plays

It's the same match as a quick match against a stranger: both of you start in the Stone Age with the same gold, pick which of the 15 units to train, and race through 4 ages to destroy the other keep. Units fight on their own, so the duel is about what you train and when. New to the game? Send your friend how to play first.

Rematches

When a match ends, the results screen has a Rematch button. If you both accept, you both go straight to the countdown for a new match, with no new link needed.
